  • Winery Hotel - Relais Castello di Razzano
    Piedmont View map
One warm summer evening, we arrived at Relais Castello di Razzano with our two kids, not quite knowing what to expect. We’d stayed at several other hotels on our Italian trip, but none would leave such a mark on us as this one. Everything - from the outstanding staff to the unique experiences - was so much more than we had hoped for. Our very spacious two-room suite was both comfortable and opened to a sea of vineyards stretching endlessly from left to right... Days here were mostly spent by the fantastic pool, where the kids splashed for hours while we had easy access to get another glass of wine from the nearby “Ciabot”. Evenings were dedicated for the hotel’s restaurant, where every meal was a masterclass in Piedmont flavours. But what's even more unique here was the wine museum! A captivating historic tour through the hotel’s basement and cellar, ending with a tasting (where we could select from 20 wines) at a price so reasonable it felt like a steal. Their sparkling wines stole our hearts - we only wish our suitcases had been big enough to bring more bottles home. Read more
