Hotel Törggelehof is the kind of place where vineyard views steal the show. Perched on a sunny hillside, the hotel looks out across rows of vines and apple orchards, with the mountains framing it all in the distance.
The rooms are light and welcoming, many with balconies where we loved sitting with a glass of local wine while the valley turned golden at sunset. The hotel produces its own wines, and tastings in the cellar gave us a real sense of the passion and tradition that runs through this family-run estate. Afternoons often drift into walks through the vineyards, swims in the pool, or simply lounging in the garden with the scent of blossoms and grapes in the air.
We believe Hotel Törggelehof is perfectly placed to enjoy both the wines and landscapes of South Tyrol - we left already dreaming of our return.
