The hotel’s 146 rooms and suites are set in a beautifully restored building that was a former tobacco warehouse. How cool is that? Additionally, the on-site Wellness Spa will add another level of relaxation, and for the younger guest there’s even a kids club (which is very rare for a wine hotel!). Twenty‑five bespoke rooms and suites feature terracotta floors, wood beams, minimal yet warm decor. Many of them open up to lush garden or vine views... Days here began with breakfast on the Belvedere terrace - with fresh pastries, eggs, seasonal fruits - followed by chilled estate Chianti in the hidden cellar. The intimate spa adds Turkish bath and indoor pool comforts, while the on-site Vallepicciola winery invites guided tastings and barrel‑room tours. It is surrounded by vineyards, olive groves and woodland, offering panoramic views at every turn. What made our stay here so memorable was the perfect balance of history and contemporary comfort... Days here were spent exploring the estate’s organic winery, enjoying tastings of its exceptional Chianti Classico, and feast on regional dishes crafted from local ingredients.     Winding our way through the Tuscan landscape, we finally ended up at Castello di Bossi. We’d stayed at several hotels on our summer trip, but this one would quickly become a highlight. The warm, welcoming staff and the centuries-old castle setting felt like stepping into another world. Our suite overlooked row upon row of Sangiovese, Cabernet, and Merlot vines stretching toward the horizon. Days slipped by between lazy hours at the pool and tastings of Chianti Classico and the estate’s bold Super Tuscans... Evenings brought long dinners where peppery olive oil, earthy pecorino, and rich ragù met the wines grown just beyond the terrace.
