We’d long been curious about
Villa Campomaggio Resort & SPA, and it turned out to be every bit as charming as we’d hoped. Located between Radda and Greve in the heart of Chianti region, this 18th-century villa offers the kind of peaceful, vineyard-surrounded setting that feels instantly restorative.
The rooms and suites are warm and traditional, with terracotta floors, wood-beamed ceilings, and windows that open onto olive trees and vine-covered hills. It’s the sort of place where time slows down - and where mornings start with a generous breakfast under the pergola - and afternoons drift by between the pool, the spa, and a glass of Sangiovese in the garden.
We loved how easy everything felt-relaxed but well cared for, with friendly staff and just the right amount of attention. Quiet, scenic, and full of Tuscan character, exactly what a Chianti wine stay should be.
