Mendoza (Los Sauces) Show on mapSet against the vast, sunstruck sweep of Mendoza’s Uco Valley, The Vines Resort & Spa is the kind of place that makes wine country look almost indecently beautiful. The resort sits among 1,500 acres of private vineyards in Los Chacayes, with the Andes rising behind it, and everything here is arranged around that landscape. From the breathtaking views, to the wines, the stillness, and the sense that you have been dropped into the most cinematic version of Argentina possible... The incredible accommodation is part of the magic. The resort’s 33 villas are spread across the vines and built for proper lingering, with private decks, spa-style bathrooms and interiors in wood and stone that keep the mood warm rather than flashy. Some of them also feature outdoor fireplaces, soaking tubs and even private swimming pools - which is exactly the sort of over-the-top detail that works perfectly when the backdrop is this dramatic. And then there is restaurant Siete Fuegos by Francis Mallmann, which gives the whole place a second heartbeat. Mallmann’s open-fire cooking is central to the experience, turning dinner into part theatre, part feast, all grounded in local produce and Argentine wine culture. Add the spa, the vineyard experiences and that endless mountain horizon, and this is the sort of stay people start planning another trip around before they have even checked out. Mendoza (Agrelo) Show on mapIf you're drawn to immersive vineyard escapes, Chozos Resort delivers a dramatic Mendoza experience you'll hardly forget. Set on the vast Dragonback Estate - the largest privately owned vineyard globally - it cultivates bold signature wines like Malbec and Cabernet Sauvignon. And in this rocky, sandy terrain you'll not only find the vines - but also some very cool accommodation... They come in dome-shaped chozos - intimate cabanas with private plunge pools, fire pits, patios, and stunning floor-to-ceiling windows. Daily delights here include wine-tasting sessions and tours in the resort’s own winery, plus wine-release events that feel festive and exclusive. Outdoor options are equally rich: horseback or mountain-bike vineyard rides, spa treatments, and evenings under star-spattered skies. Mendoza (Perdriel) Show on mapSome stays are about the room. Boutique Hotel Bodega CICLO ANDINO is about the setting. The property sits in Perdriel, at the foot of the Andes, and builds the whole experience around century-old vineyards, tastings in a historic villa and private lodges looking directly over the vines toward the mountains. It is one of those places where the phrase “wine and hospitality at the foot of the Andes” sounds suspiciously like an understatement... A fun detail we really like is that the vineyards here are a century old, which gives the project more gravitas than the average shiny boutique newcomer. The lodges themselves are modern, but the wine story underneath them is not. That contrast - old vines, fresh design, serious scenery - is what makes the whole thing stick in your mind. Mendoza (Maipú) Show on mapThe Mendoza region is world-famous for its Malbec, but what really makes it special is the way boutique wineries here let you feel part of the story. Boutique Vineyard and Wine Lodge in Maipú captures that spirit beautifully. Set in the foothills of the Andes, the lodge is surrounded by rows of vines that seem to stretch right up to the mountains. The atmosphere is intimate and personal, with just a handful of rooms designed to make you feel at home... But what really stands out, though, is the winemaking. Guests can tour the cellar, taste Malbecs and other varietals straight from the barrel, and enjoy food pairings that showcase Argentina’s bold flavours. It’s quiet, authentic, and incredibly scenic. A true Mendoza experience, made for wine lovers who want more than just a hotel stay. Read moreGuest rating: 9.8 (exceptional)Price from: JPY 13,475 /night

Mendoza (Maipú) Show on mapIn Mendoza’s Maipú wine region, surrounded by century-old olive trees and vineyards, you’ll find Posada Verde Oliva. A fantastic boutique stay that is both authentic and refined. The first thing you'll notice is the historic 19th-century house that has been carefully restored, while adding the comforts of a modern inn. Here, life moves at a slower pace... Days start with a homemade breakfast in the garden, shaded by olive branches, and unfold with visits to nearby wineries, cellar tours, and tastings of Malbecs and blends that define the region. Mendoza (Tres Esquinas) Show on mapWe were immediately sold on the name alone: Finca Boutique Un Buen Año - “a good year” - is exactly what you want a vineyard hotel to promise. Out in Eugenio Bustos in the Uco Valley, the property combines a vineyard and attached winery with a much more intimate hotel mood than the bigger Mendoza names. It is close to serious neighbours too, including Zuccardi Piedra Infinita and Alfa Crux, which tells you the wine address is no accident... What makes it especially appealing is that it sounds built for lingering. Vineyard views, an outdoor pool, grilling areas and that feeling of being in the middle of one of South America’s most talked-about wine regions without needing a huge resort around you. Mendoza (Agrelo) Show on mapAt the foothills of the Andes in Mendoza’s Luján de Cuyo region, Posada Finca Garciarena offers an experience where wine, history, and hospitality come together beautifully. Set within a restored 19th-century estate, the posada surrounds guests with vineyards and the unmistakable charm of Argentine wine country. The boutique property balances rustic character with comfort: high ceilings, antique furnishings, and inviting rooms that open onto gardens and mountain views... Days naturally revolve around the region’s renowned wineries – with Malbec at the forefront. But many guests also choose to linger on the hotel itself, enjoying Garciarena’s own wines paired with seasonal cuisine at the restaurant. If you ask us, that's something you shouldn’t miss! Whether it’s a tasting in the cellar, a walk among the vines, or simply a quiet moment by the pool with a glass in hand, you'll almost feel like you're part of Mendoza's winemaking tradition. Mendoza (Maipú) Show on mapWe recently got the chance to stay at Posada Mawida during a trip through Lunlunta, and it quickly became a favourite. Set on a 10-hectare estate that combines hospitality with winemaking, the property has a much more intimate scale than many of the region’s larger wine resorts. It contains of just four double rooms, one triple room and three lofts set above the vineyard, all surrounded by gardens, vines and mountain views. What we liked most was the balance... The rooms are warm and unfussy, the lofts come with private decks looking out to the Andes, and there is a pool, wine cellar and generous outdoor space that make it very easy to slow down. The wine connection is what ties it all together. Mawida is not just a pretty countryside inn near wineries; it is part of a wine estate in Maipú, one of Mendoza’s classic wine areas, so the vineyard setting feels central rather than decorative. The result is low-key, personal and deeply connected to the land around it - exactly the kind of place that turns a simple wine trip into something much more memorable. Mendoza (Ciudad Lujan de Cuyo) Show on mapEnlace Wine House is a very tempting find for those who wants a wine stay to come with actual vineyard life. Set inside Bodega Montequieto, right in the heart of Mendoza’s wine route, it puts guests among the vines and within easy reach of names like Catena Zapata, Pulenta Estate and Bodega Andalhue. Better still, the stay includes local wine tastings, so the wine story starts almost as soon as you arrive. What gives it extra appeal is the scale... This is not a sprawling resort but a smaller guest-house-style setup with a restaurant, gardens, a seasonal pool and spa services, which keeps the mood more intimate and relaxed. And then there is the food side. Enlace Resto leans into locally rooted cooking and thoughtful wine pairings, which is exactly what you want after a day in Mendoza wine country. In other words: this is the kind of place you book when you want vineyard immersion, easy gastronomy and the feeling that the next very good glass is never far away. Mendoza (Maipú) Show on mapAfter a long-awaited stay at Posada Cavieres Wine Farm in Maipú, we can honestly say it exceeded all of our highest expectations. Nestled alongside its own Malbec vineyard and olive groves, the lodge invites to a genuine and unpretentious getaway with full focus on wine. Here, its seven individually decorated rooms boast vineyard views, memory‑foam beds, minibars, and private patios... Our room was even set right on the vines! Breakfast arrived daily with regional produce and pastries, while dinners were enjoyed at the on‑site restaurant. We also loved lounging by the pool with a glass (or two...) of their Cavieres Malbec, biking to nearby bodegas, and lastly - the warm, multilingual hospitality from owners Hans and Alina. We can't wait to return. Read moreGuest rating: 9.2 (superb)Price from: JPY 14,028 /night

Mendoza (Agrelo) Show on mapAfter reading so many great reviews about vineyard stays in Mendoza, we were very eager to try the Agrelo Vines Lodge. And how it delivered! Set amid endless vine rows with the Andes as your backdrop, this boutique retreat includes just four modern mini‑villas. Our had a fantastic, private terrace, fireplace, and heated floors. Days here begun with generous continental breakfasts - think local pastries and fresh fruit delivered to your suite... And then, with free-flowing wine or champagne in-room, it was pretty easy to unwind by the seasonal pool. Mendoza (Vistalba) Show on mapVilla Mansa hits that sweet spot between vineyard escape and style retreat in Argentina’s wine heartland. Set in Luján de Cuyo just 14 minutes from Mendoza city, this boutique hideaway is wrapped in vineyards, olive trees, and Andes-backdrops. The wine story here is genuine: the on-site cellar houses estate-grown Malbecs and other varietals, tastings are a relaxed affair, and the restaurant serves seasonal regional dishes with local bottles ready to pour... Rooms are spacious and bright, each with a balcony or terrace so you can savor your first morning coffee (or a glass at sunset) looking out over vines. Mendoza (Tupungato) Show on mapThere is a very specific pleasure in waking up with the Andes on one side and vineyards on the other, and Auberge Du Vin leans hard into it. Set in Tupungato Winelands in Mendoza’s Uco Valley, the hotel sits in the middle of vineyard country with open mountain views, fireplaces in the rooms and even kitchenettes, which gives the whole stay a more independent, long-weekend energy... The interesting twist here is that it is not really a winery hotel in the strict estate-owned sense, but a very stylish base inside one of Argentina’s most exciting wine landscapes. So the appeal is less “sleeping above the cellar” and more “having top wineries, Malbec country and those enormous Andes views right outside your door.” That is a pretty strong proposition in itself.
