There is a very specific pleasure in waking up with the Andes on one side and vineyards on the other, and
Auberge Du Vin leans hard into it. Set in Tupungato Winelands in Mendoza’s Uco Valley, the hotel sits in the middle of vineyard country with open mountain views, fireplaces in the rooms and even kitchenettes, which gives the whole stay a more independent, long-weekend energy.
The interesting twist here is that it is not really a winery hotel in the strict estate-owned sense, but a very stylish base inside one of Argentina’s most exciting wine landscapes. So the appeal is less “sleeping above the cellar” and more “having top wineries, Malbec country and those enormous Andes views right outside your door.” That is a pretty strong proposition in itself.
