Chateau Montchenot

A quiet, adults-only base for Maipú bodegas and Malbec by the pool

From BOB 2,283 / night Book now

Maipú is one of Mendoza’s classic wine destinations, and this adults-only hideaway makes a stylish base for exploring it. Chateau Montchenot combines an elegant historic feel with modern rooms, lush gardens and a beautiful outdoor pool. The atmosphere is quiet and intimate, which suits a few days of serious wine tasting perfectly.

There is also an Argentinian restaurant, bar and plenty of help arranging local activities. We’d choose this for the location: spend the day visiting Maipú’s bodegas, then come back for dinner and a glass of Malbec by the pool.
