Rioja (Laguardia) Show on mapWe loved every minute of our recent stay at the fantastic Hotel Eguren Ugarte. Surrounded by 130 hectares of vineyard in Rioja, it delivered an immersive wine-country escape with modern design and authentic charm. The hotel really felt built especially for wine lovers, and the winery and tasting rooms was located just floors below, visible through glass panels. A quick elevator ride shuttles us past barrel-lined cellars, a very cool experience... Another thing that really stayed with us was being able to wander the grounds after dusk, sipping that perfect Crianza on our balcony as the sunset painted the vineyards gold.
