The estate's own wines, organic farm environment and all the surrounding facilities - which include a pool, sauna, gym - provide plenty of excuses to stay longer than planned.
And then there is the mood: vineyard terrace, stylish rooms, proper breakfasts, and that lovely sense that everything moves a little slower here. In other words, this is the sort of address that makes you open one bottle and immediately understand why Slovenian wine country deserves far more attention than it gets.
