For a long time we had been looking forward to visiting
Prime Alture Wine Resort, and honestly, when we finally made it here it was a wine lover’s dream. Set in the heart of Lombardy’s Oltrepò Pavese region, the resort is surrounded by vineyards producing organic Chardonnay, Pinot Nero, Barbera, and more. All grown on limestone-rich slopes which is perfect for expressive, small-batch wines.
Guests can take part of cellar tours, vineyard walks, and tastings of labels like their oak-aged Madame Chardonnay or the deep, structured 45° Ovest Barbera. And the fact that the resort only has six wine-themed suites makes it even more special. Quiet, personal, and focused on the experience. We can’t wait to return!
