The first thing to know about
The Source At Sula is that it sits on the site of Sula’s first-ever winery. The one that helped turn Nashik into India’s most important wine region. That alone makes the stay feel significant. Sula calls it India’s first heritage winery resort, and there is something genuinely exciting about waking up in the middle of the estate that helped put Indian wine on the map.
We also liked how deliberately wine-soaked the whole setup is. The views take in Sula’s vineyards, the Deccan hills and Gangapur Lake; the rooms are named after global wine regions; and the wider estate gives you restaurants, tastings and a direct line into one of the most influential stories in modern Indian wine. For us, this is one of those places where the fun fact is the main fact: you are sleeping at the source, quite literally.
