Staying at Château de Berne was definitely one of our most memorable wine getaways we’ve done. It felt like stepping into a timeless Provençal story - surrounded by vines, luxury, and sunshine. The 1,500-acre property is dominated by its own organic vineyards, producing standout rosés and structured reds from native grapes. Touring the cellar - with its double-bottomed stainless-steel tanks - brought us face to face with the wine’s journey from grape to glass... Afternoons was spent by the pool, leisurely hikes along one of the six marked vineyard trails, and a visit to the 200 m² Cinq Mondes spa rounded out the experience. We will return! Read more

We found the excellent 5-star Coquillade Provence in the heart of Provence's Luberon region. It was originally established by Cistercian monks in the 11th century. Today, this restored hamlet now encompasses a luxury hotel surrounded by vineyards, olive groves, and lavender fields. The on-site winery produces a selection of wines that reflect the region's rich viticultural heritage. Guests can explore the winemaking process through guided tours and tastings, gaining insight into the craftsmanship behind each bottle... Beyond wine, we also love the accommodations here which feature spacious suites with private terraces and stunning views of the surrounding countryside. For relaxation, the on-site spa provides a range of treatments, while cycling enthusiasts can take advantage of the estate's bike center to explore the scenic routes in the area. Not long ago, we had the absolute pleasure to stay a couple of nights at Château de Fonscolombe. A stunning boutique hotel embedded in vineyards and some of the most beautiful landscapes of Provence. Waking up to the endless vineyard views and sipping exquisite estate wines on our private terrace - was everything we hoped for and more. The 50 rooms are luxurious yet cozy, and the staff treats you like family. So if you crave an authentic, indulgent wine-country experience, this is the place!
