Our recent stay at Château de Pizay felt like living inside a Beaujolais postcard. Surrounded by 80 hectares of vines, this 14th-century château blends fairytale architecture with the energy of a working winery. From the moment we walked through the gates, we knew this was going to live up to all our high expectations... Our suite looked out across the vineyards, and mornings began with long walks through the grounds before heading into the cellar for tastings of their vibrant Beaujolais and Morgon wines. The château also has a stunning spa, complete with wine-inspired treatments, and the outdoor pool was the perfect spot to watch the sun set over the hills. It’s romantic, indulgent, and rooted in centuries of history - a place that reminds you why staying in a winery hotel is so magical. Read more
