What makes
The Wine Lodge so special is not just that it sits on Skåne’s northernmost vineyard, but that you get to live right in the middle of it. From the house, you can watch the everyday rhythm of a Swedish vineyard unfold, then end the day on the terrace with a grill going, a glass in hand, and views over the vines and the winding Vieån below.
The house itself has real character. It sleeps eight, is personally decorated, and comes with a wonderful collection of cookbooks and wine books left by previous owners who wrote about food and wine. There is also a vinyl player, records, smart TVs, open-plan social spaces and a garden made for slow summer evenings.
And the best part is how grounded it all feels. Amanda and Mike, who run both the vineyard and the local inn, can arrange vineyard walks, tastings, catering and e-bikes, and in summer may even drop by with fresh eggs and vegetables from the farm. This is Swedish wine-country living with heart, charm and a surprisingly generous dose of personality.
