For wine lovers, it doesn’t get much more immersive than actually sleeping inside a working historic winery. At the beautiful Vera de Estenas in Utiel you get the chance to stay in one of their nine individually styled rooms spread through the original bodega. And one of the best parts is that much of its old architecture is carefully preserved.

The winery offers everything from simple tastings to full 24- and 48-hour wine experiences, and its bottles include wines from its own Pago Vera de Estenas as well as D.O. Utiel-Requena and Cava. We particularly love that wine isn’t an added activity here – it is the whole reason the hotel exists.
