Šibav Wine&Tourism B&B offers a wonderful farm stay near Dobrovo Castlen in Brda. It's set right among the family’s vineyards and run with the sort of warmth guests remember just as vividly as the wine.
A detail we especially like: breakfast has included things like Merlot juice, acacia honey, home-cured cold cuts, farm eggs and tomatoes, which tells you a lot about the place before you even get to the first tasting. Add a pool overlooking the vines and rooms with minibars stocked with the owner’s wine, and this becomes a wonderfully grounded way to experience Slovenian wine country.
