Set in the UNESCO-listed Prosecco Superiore hills of Conegliano,
Tenuta Mani Sagge comes with a very strong opening line. Four generations of wine history, a boutique winery on site, and a location right in the natural amphitheatre of Manzana - one of the area’s most striking vineyard settings. As you understand, this is proper Prosecco country, but not the mass-market version. Instead, Mani Sagge focuses on Conegliano Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore DOCG, (including a Rive di Bagnolo Brut), which already tells wine nerds that the terroir story here is serious.
The stay itself gives you more than a room between tastings. There’s an agriturismo, a panoramic wine bar, a locanda and a working cantina, so the whole place is built around eating, drinking and staying put longer than planned. Tastings range from sunset Prosecco sessions with local cheeses and cured meats to vineyard tours that dive into the estate’s story.
Come here for the bubbles, stay for the hilltop views, and leave knowing that “just one glass” was never going to be realistic.
