Perched on its own hilltop in Farigliano,
Bricco Rosso has the kind of setting that does half the seduction for free. Vines spill down the slopes, the Langhe rolls out in every direction, and the estate’s own cellar sits right at the heart of it all, offering tastings and tours rooted in native Piedmont grapes and a satisfyingly old-meets-new approach underground.
The rooms are not trying to outshine the landscape, which is probably wise. Think rustic comfort, beams, balconies in some categories and views stretching from vineyards to hills and, on a clear day, even the Alps. There is also a pool for those dangerously lazy afternoons that start with “just one glass.”
This is the one for romantics, low-key wine obsessives and anyone who likes their Piedmont with fewer theatrics and more sky.
