Just outside Rome, on the volcanic slopes of Frascati, we discovered
Merumalia Wine Resort, a place where vineyard life and modern elegance come together beautifully. Lazio has been making wine since ancient Roman times, and here we could taste that heritage in every glass.
Our suite was fantastic, with wide views over rolling hills and vines that seemed to stretch forever. We spent lazy afternoons tasting Merumalia’s wines, wandering through the vineyard, and unwinding by the pool.
.. Evenings were all about sitting on the terrace with a bottle, watching the sun dip behind the Castelli Romani.
