    During a summer trip in France we had the opportunity to spend some days at this 5 star boutique hotel - and we couldn't be more pleased. We were blown away by the charm and sophistication - and the private vineyard tours were captivating. Our fantastic suite had a balcony overlooking the sweeping landscape — perfect for sunrise coffee or sunset wine. If you want an luxurious winecation (if that's even a word?) this is a must-visit!

    Just 30 minutes from the city of Bordeaux, we found the fabulous Château Meyre. An elegant 17th-century estate that's surrounded by its own certified organic vineyards in the Haut-Médoc. And from the moment we arrived we felt wrapped up in its charm. Our room overlooked neat rows of vines stretching toward the horizon, and mornings began with a leisurely breakfast before wandering into the cellar for a tasting of their robust reds... The château still produces its own Cru Bourgeois wines, and hearing the story of each vintage while sipping it just steps from where the grapes grow was a real highlight. Afternoons by the pool, bikes through the vineyards, and dinners in nearby villages made it the perfect blend of relaxation and discovery. Highly recommended! Read more
