We had very high expectations before arriving at MALAT Weingut und Hotel, and from the very first moment, it impressed us in every way. Surrounded by the vineyards of the Kremstal Valley and the Danube’s gentle curves, we thought this family-run estate had the perfect balance of tradition, innovation and warm Austrian hospitality. The 7 rooms and suites combined timeless elegance with modern comfort, and our room even had sweeping views of the vineyards and the castle-dotted hills... During the days spent here we had the opportunity to discover the winery’s acclaimed Riesling wines through guided tastings and cellar tours, and enjoy regional cuisine in the inviting restaurant.
