We’d heard so many great things about Spicers Vineyards Estate, and it more than lived up to the praise once we stayed here. A peaceful, grown-up wine stay that manages to feel both refined and wonderfully relaxed at the same time. Set among the vines in Pokolbin, this small retreat feels far from the crowds, even though it’s right in the heart of Hunter Valley. The suites are spacious and calming, with fireplaces, spa baths, and views across the vineyard or gardens... Afternoons are best spent by the pool with a glass of Semillon, or wandering the grounds before heading to the excellent on-site restaurant, where seasonal dishes are thoughtfully paired with local wines. We especially loved the warm, personal service - welcoming without being over the top - and the sense that everything had been designed for proper rest and enjoyment. It’s relaxed luxury done just right. Read moreGuest rating: 8.9 (fabulous)Price from: CZK 8,346 /night
