Berat Show on mapWine, warmth & wow! That's how we would describe our recent visit to this chic vineyard retreat. Because Pupa Winery Serene Stay is exactly that - a boutique winery and guesthouse wrapped in rolling vine rows in Berat. From the moment we arrived, the family-run vibe hit just right. Relaxed, friendly, and personally tailored. Our room was spotless, spacious and really felt like a restful haven after a glass (or three...)... Complimentary vineyard tour and wine tasting was included in the stay, and the hosts walked us through their grapes, pressing, and fermenting spaces, ending with generous pours of local vintages and even some raki. Everyone in the group kept echoing: "Best wine we had in Albania" - a statement we are willing to agree with! Read moreGuest rating: 9.6 (exceptional)Price from: THB 3,052 /night

Berat Show on mapIf you're looking for one of Albania's premier wine hotel - then stop right here and get yourself familiar with Alpeta Agrotourism & Winery. A award-winning gem perched above a lake near Berat, surrounded by vines and stunning mountain backdrop views! But the real heart of the place is the wines. The Fiska family has been growing Merlot, Cabernet and indigenous Albanian varietals for decades - plus some quirky blends. Their evening tours of the vineyard is something of a must... Just imagine walking through sun-drenched rows, exploring a cozy cellar, then settling in for tasting of full-bodied reds and zesty whites. On top of that, we loved the relaxed staff and their farm-to-table restaurant with fresh local dishes, raki toasts and warm stories shared. Vlora Show on mapAlbania has one of the oldest winemaking traditions in Europe, dating back over 3,000 years, yet its wines are still a hidden secret to many travellers. Around Vlora, where the Adriatic meets the mountains, boutique wineries and family-run estates are now opening their doors to guests - and Kantina & Ferma Dukat is one of the most special. More than just a winery, it’s also a working farm where life moves at a slower pace... You can wander the vineyards, taste wines made from indigenous Albanian grapes, and sit down to meals prepared with produce grown right on the land. The hospitality is warm and personal - it feels like being welcomed into someone’s home rather than checking into a hotel. Rooms are rustic yet comfortable, the scenery is breathtaking, and the connection to the land and its traditions is genuine. This is Albania’s wine culture at its most authentic. Lezhë County Show on mapMrizi i Zanave Agroturizëm invites to a cozy vineyard escape in Lezhë. It’s part winery, part farm, part boutique B&B, and completely unforgettable. Vineyard rows stretch to misty mountain and animals are all over the place. We loved feeding the goats touring the property, and even witnessing the “march of the geese” at sunrise. The wine here is a highlight as well... Estate-grown reds and whites available in their shop and during tastings - complete with cheese and homemade jams. Plus, there’s even a bar for daytime sips and nibbles in the courtyard. So if you're after slow-paced charm, homegrown wines, and countryside vibes - this place is the perfect choice! Tirana Show on mapThe lovely Vila Shehi Guesthouse is located in one of the Albania’s most exciting wine areas, producing rich reds and aromatic whites that reflect its Mediterranean climate. Family-run and full of heart, this guesthouse is set among vineyards and olive groves, with rooms that are simple, comfortable, and made for unwinding after a day of exploring. The real magic, though, happens in the winery... Guests can taste wines crafted from local grapes, often poured by the Shehi family themselves, and sit down to traditional Albanian meals where everything - from the olive oil to the herbs - is produced on the estate. It feels less like a hotel and more like being welcomed into a family’s world, where wine, food, and hospitality flow together naturally.
