Schlaf-Fass Maienfeld, converted wooden barrels sit among the vines above Maienfeld, with views across the Bündner Herrschaft wine region and surrounding mountains.
You actually get separate barrels for sleeping and relaxing over dinner, with food baskets and local “Herrschäftler” wine forming part of the experience. It is rustic, quirky and completely unlike a normal hotel – which is precisely why we like it.
