Wine is very much part of everyday life at
Val Du Charron Wine & Leisure Estate. Set in Wellington’s beautiful Bovlei Valley, the estate combines its own wines with two restaurants and accommodation overlooking the vineyards and Hawekwa Mountains. Guests can even get involved in aspects of wine production during the season.
For us, the three-suite Coach House is the standout. Each suite has its own
private plunge pool, patio and fireplace facing the winelands. It is a fantastic setup for couples who want proper vineyard views without giving up a little luxury.
