Quinta da Salada is a real gem in Portugal’s Dão region. This is where granite soils, fresh mountain air, and a family’s passion come together to create wines that taste every bit as alive as the landscape.
The setup is charmingly unpretentious - cozy rooms with countryside views, a terrace made for sipping, and a cellar where the good stuff is poured straight from the source. Forget polished resort vibes; here, you’re welcomed like an old friend. Tastings are often paired with homemade cheese, fresh bread, and a story or two about the vines outside your window.
We spent two amazing days here and really wish we had booked a longer stay.
