Quinta da Casa Amarela was one of those rare moments when everything aligns. Views that take your breath away, quiet hospitality, and wine that whispers "linger a little longer." Set in the heart of the Douro Valley, this family-owned estate has recently been transformed into an elegant guesthouse - all surrounded by its own vineyards dating back to 1885!
With just four beautifully designed suites plus a charming standalone unit, the place is intimate yet full of attention to details. Our room opened to vineyard panoramas, and the rooftop pool was a highlight.
Breakfasts were a delight as well, tables set with fresh pastries and local flavours, and André - the host - made everything easy. From arranging dinners to guiding us through a private wine tasting. In summary; this is easily one of our favourite wine hotels in Portugal!
