We can't ask for more really. Set atop a gently rolling hill near Marsala, this former feudal dwelling is embraced by olive groves, cypress and vines, offering sweeping garden, vineyard, and sea views... During our stay in one of their 49 well-appointed rooms and suites, we enjoyed generous buffet breakfasts in the sunlit courtyard. In the evenings we indulged in gourmet dinners at La Calandra restaurant, where creative Sicilian cuisine is expertly paired with the estate’s wines. Inzolia, Nero d’Avola and Zibibbo - all so fantastic! Also, the wine-tastings in the historic cellar provided deeper insight into the Oneto family’s legacy - while the large saltwater pool kept us refreshed during warm days.
