For a long time we had been looking forward to visiting Prime Alture Wine Resort, and honestly, when we finally made it here it was a wine lover’s dream. Set in the heart of Lombardy’s Oltrepò Pavese region, the resort is surrounded by vineyards producing organic Chardonnay, Pinot Nero, Barbera, and more. All grown on limestone-rich slopes which is perfect for expressive, small-batch wines... Guests can take part of cellar tours, vineyard walks, and tastings of labels like their oak-aged Madame Chardonnay or the deep, structured 45° Ovest Barbera.
