The Moselle is at its best when you can stay right with the people making the wine. At Weingut Tiliahof, a third-generation family winery on the edge of Brauneberg, modern guest rooms sit alongside the vineyards and cellar. Riesling is naturally a highlight here, grown on the region’s characteristic slate soils, but the family also produces red and other white varieties. Wine tastings are held during the week, and afterwards you can simply walk upstairs rather than worry about driving anywhere. Simple, personal and exactly what we look for in a genuine winery stay.
