Kvareli in Georgia’s Kakheti region produces much of the country’s wine, with traditions like clay pot winemaking even listed by UNESCO. And the super charming Chubini Winery & Cabins is one of our favourite winery accommodations in the area. Set in the village of Shilda, it’s family-run, with modern cabins looking out over vineyards and the Caucasus mountains.

The rooms (sorry... cabins!) come with air-con, private bathrooms, balconies, and Wi-Fi, but the real magic is outside. Garden dinners, firepit evenings, and wine tastings in the cellar where the wine is actually made. As a guest you will love the warmth of the hosts, the homemade wine, and the feeling that you’re less at a hotel and more at someone’s countryside home - complete with cats, dogs, and big skies.
