If we were planning a Bordeaux wine weekend with a big group, Château de Birot would be very tempting. This elegant 18th-century château stands on a wine estate above the Garonne in Cadillac Côtes de Bordeaux, where vines have been cultivated for more than 200 years. The estate produces its own wines and offers visits and tastings.

You can rent the château itself, with seven bedrooms, large living spaces, gardens and a private pool! It feels less like staying at a wine hotel and more like having a Bordeaux château of your own for a few days – which sounds even better to us.
